Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill set and join us as a Rapid Response Care Assistant. In this role, you’ll receive full training and clinical support to develop and refine your skills in complex areas such as tracheotomy care, ventilation, seizure management, stoma care, and much more! We are committed to providing exceptional care for people of all ages in their homes and the community, with a variety of complex needs including spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care to clients with complex needs, including support for spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other conditions.
- Travel to client locations within a 100-mile radius, providing rapid and responsive care where it’s needed most.
- Work on an on-call rota, ensuring that our clients receive timely and consistent support.
- Receive continuous clinical support and training to expand your skills in specialist areas like tracheotomy, ventilation, stoma care, and seizure management.
- Be adaptable and ready for a different challenge each day, while making a real difference in the lives of your clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records in line with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Complex care is essential, with a desire to develop your skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for various client packages and to work on an on-call rota.
- Ability to handle a variety of complex care needs with professionalism and compassion.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.
