We’re currently recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants to support service users across Southwark and surrounding areas.

  • Weekdays (Mon–Sat): £14.60 per hour
  • Sundays: £15.20 per hour
  • Day: 8/9am – 2/3pm
  • Evening: 4pm – 9pm

Guaranteed hours contracts available for the right candidates – giving you the security of regular work.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll help with:

  • Supporting with personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
  • Assisting with medication – preparation and administration
  • Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely
  • Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support
  • Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning
  • Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships

  • Mobility Assistance – transfers, walking support, use of aids
  • Health Monitoring – observing and reporting changes in condition
  • Social Inclusion – helping maintain community and family connections

  • Safety & Emergency Response – creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed
  • Collaboration – working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

Experience isn’t essential – we provide full training. What matters is your patience, encouragement, and positivity to help people achieve their goals.

  • Compassion and motivation to help people live independently
  • Good communication and observation skills
  • Flexibility and resilience
  • Right to work in the UK
