What you’ll do

  • Support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field.
  • Conduct assessment and review of individual services, including needs and risk assessments.
  • Provide practical supervision, instruction and support of care workers.
  • Work with Care Coordinators to plan realistic, effective care worker rosters, considering individual needs and worker skills.
  • Carry out regular reviews of individual services, including repeated and renewed needs and risk assessments.
  • Participate as required in multi‑disciplinary reviews of service users’ needs.
  • Shadow new care workers to ensure competence.
  • Observe and evaluate care worker practice on site as part of routine supervision or in response to performance concerns.
  • Spend the majority of working time in the community; occasional office‑based administrative work.
