Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more!

This rewarding, person-centred role involves supporting a young adult with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which is a severe form of Epilepsy. He lives with his parents and siblings, enjoys music and sensory activities, and spending time outdoors with family. This role will require assistance with PEG feeding, a Vagus Nerve simulator to help with seizure management, washing, dressing, bowel management, medication administration, and manual handling with assistance from his family.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

Experience in the following is not essential, but extremely advantageous for this role:

  • Epilepsy and Seizure management
  • PEG feeding
  • Medication Administration
  • Moving & Handling Equipment

The only requirement would be that you will need a full valid UK licence.
