Role Overview
We are looking for a Complex Care Assistant to support a client who is actively engaged in the community. The client enjoys a variety of activities, including swimming, visiting the zoo, day trips, walking, and visiting churches.
What you’ll do
Excellent communication skills are essential to provide effective support and help the client make the most of their social and recreational activities. If you are compassionate, reliable, and enjoy supporting an active lifestyle, this role is for you. The key tasks with this role include:
- Personal care
- Daily and domestic duties
- Escorting to outings in the community
- Meal preparation
Qualifications
You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full training and ongoing clinical support to develop in key areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care – and much more. You will need a full UK driving licence and be able to drive the client’s manual mobility vehicle.
