Production Line Operatives (Offsite Manufacturing)
CCG is recognised as one of the most innovative and sustainable construction and manufacturing groups in Scotland.
We have been a leading fabricator of enhanced closed panel timber systems since 2010. Our product β known as βiQβ β is one of the most advanced of its kind in the UK and is manufactured under some of the most sophisticated offsite construction conditions in the country, from our Β£12 million, 130,000 sq. ft. facility, CCG OSM, located in Glasgow.
The OSM division and iQ product are currently supporting the delivery of 1200 low carbon and βnet zero readyβ homes, as well as a number of care homes β ranging from 50 to 60 beds β across the Central Belt.
Candidates are sought to work along the main production line.
The successful candidate should have good experience following on-screen instructions to assist them in their part in the production of our iQ closed wall panels. Previous experience working in a production environment is preferred, but not essential if you have a desire to work on a production line. All training will be provided for the right candidate with an agreed-upon training plan with your Line Leader.
SALARY: Starting salary of Β£12.21 with an opportunity to earn up to Β£12.80 when fully experienced
HOURS: Currently working a 4-day week (37.5 hours) 06.00 to 16.00 Tuesday to Friday but it will revert to a 5-day week (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday in the future.
LOCATION: CCG OSM, 2 Drumhead Road, Glasgow East Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8EX.
