Production Line Operatives (Offsite Manufacturing)

CCG is recognised as one of the most innovative and sustainable construction and manufacturing groups in Scotland.

We have been a leading fabricator of enhanced closed panel timber systems since 2010. Our product β€” known as β€˜iQ’ β€” is one of the most advanced of its kind in the UK and is manufactured under some of the most sophisticated offsite construction conditions in the country, from our Β£12 million, 130,000 sq. ft. facility, CCG OSM, located in Glasgow.

The OSM division and iQ product are currently supporting the delivery of 1200 low carbon and β€˜net zero ready’ homes, as well as a number of care homes – ranging from 50 to 60 beds – across the Central Belt.

Candidates are sought to work along the main production line.

The successful candidate should have good experience following on-screen instructions to assist them in their part in the production of our iQ closed wall panels. Previous experience working in a production environment is preferred, but not essential if you have a desire to work on a production line. All training will be provided for the right candidate with an agreed-upon training plan with your Line Leader.

SALARY: Starting salary of Β£12.21 with an opportunity to earn up to Β£12.80 when fully experienced
HOURS: Currently working a 4-day week (37.5 hours) 06.00 to 16.00 Tuesday to Friday but it will revert to a 5-day week (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday in the future.
LOCATION: CCG OSM, 2 Drumhead Road, Glasgow East Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8EX.
STATUS: Permanent
