We have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Buyer to join our busy Buying Department and assist with our widespread procurement activities across the group. We work in various different sectors including housing, commercial and education. The successful candidate will be working alongside our Buyers covering a broad spectrum of different project types and construction activity all with a view to optimising purchasing benefit. These projects can range anywhere from £100,000 to £15 million.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to prepare material enquiries using the correct documentation.
- Analyse and solve problems.
- Evaluate supplier quotation against specification.
- Good knowledge of buying principles.
