CCG is one of Scotland’s largest construction and manufacturing groups, and our in‑house timber frame manufacturing division, CCG OSM – one of the most advanced businesses of its kind in the UK – is seeking a counterbalance forklift driver based at their premises in Cambuslang.
Salary: £13.32 to £14.15 per hour depending on experience/licence, PLUS weekly incentive for assisting production teams in achieving targets. Paid twice yearly.
Hours: Early shift 6:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday with a 30‑minute break each day = 37.5 hours per week.
Location: 2 Drumhead Road, Glasgow East Investment Park, G32 8EX
Description: The successful candidate will have good experience of working on FLT’s with a minimum of a counterbalance B1 licence and will receive training on our combi multidirectional trucks.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift License – Counterbalance B1 required
- Health & Safety Knowledge, along with H&S awareness
- Attention to detail when picking or packing materials
- Good and effective communication skills
- Excellent approach to teamwork
- Ensuring the work area is maintained to a high standard
- Ability to organise and plan workload
- Flexible approach to production required tasks
- Stock control / awareness
- Good work ethic
- Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance record
