CCG OSM specialises in the off-site manufacture of closed-panel timber systems and operates from one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the UK. The company principally serves the construction arm of the CCG Group, delivering housing and care homes across the country, and is currently recruiting a combi forklift driver to support the ongoing expansion of the Group’s construction activities across the Central Belt.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift equipment with appropriate license and training as required (Counterbalance B1 minimum); multi-directional (M1) license preferred, with training available for the right candidate.
  • Assist production teams to achieve targets; provide timely picking or packing of materials with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the working area; ensure safe and efficient workflow.
  • Organise and plan workload to support production requirements; flexible approach to production tasks as needed.
  • Stock control/awareness and accurate record-keeping; reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support operations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift License – Counterbalance (B1 minimum); preferably (M1) multi-directional license. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
  • Health & Safety knowledge and awareness.
  • Attention to detail when picking or packing materials.
  • Good and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and a proactive work ethic.
  • Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance record.

Offer

  • Salary: £13.06 to £13.87 per hour depending on experience/licenses, plus weekly incentive for assisting production teams in achieving targets. Paid twice yearly.
  • Hours: Early shift 06:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute break each day (37.5 hours per week).
  • Location: CCG OSM, 2 Drumhead Road, Glasgow East Investment Park, G32 8EX.
  • Permanent job role.

Closing date: Friday 13th February.
