CCG (Scotland) is one of country’s largest construction and manufacturing groups.Our Asset Management Division delivers planned maintenance works to occupied homes, and we are seeking a General Foreman to support projects across Glasgow.
SALARY: Competitive
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm; with additional hours worked as per project demands
LOCATION: Glasgow, Planned Maintenance Works
STATUS: Permanent
THE ROLE
- Coordination of labour and material control to ensure an efficient method of build, delivered to the required quality standards and programme.
- Scheduling and coordinating works to ensure production targets are achieved whilst maintaining a high-quality finish.
- Ensuring work methods are performed correctly
- Completing relevant site documentation on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensuring CCG’s Group Health, Safety & Environmental Policy is being adhered to and encouraging safe working practices on site
SKILLS
- Trade background preferred but not essential.
- Basis knowledge of drawings
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working within occupied properties and dealing directly with tenants.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills and experience completing site documentation.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Understanding of construction and refurbishment project delivery.
