Floor Cassette Operatives (Off Site Manufacturing – Timber Systems)
CCG is recognised as one of the most innovative and sustainable construction and manufacturing groups in Scotland.
We have been a leading fabricator of enhanced closed panel timber systems since 2010. Our product — known as ‘iQ’ — is one of the most advanced of its kind in the UK and is manufactured under some of the most sophisticated offsite construction conditions in the country, from our £12 million, 130,000 sq. ft. facility, CCG OSM, located in Glasgow.
The OSM division and iQ product are currently supporting the delivery of 1200 low carbon and ‘net zero ready’ homes, as well as a number of care homes – ranging from 50 to 60 beds – across the Central Belt.
Candidates are sought to work in the main production area to fabricate floor cassettes.
The successful candidate will have good experience in following fabricated drawings to build and install products, as well as having the ability to use both hand and power tools is an important part of this role. Previous experience of building Floor Cassettes is preferable but not essential. All training will be provided for the right candidate with an agreed training plan implemented by the Line Leader.
SALARY: DOE salary range from £13.12 to £14.46 per hour
HOURS: Currently working a 4-day week (37.5 hours) 06.00 to 16.00 Tuesday to Friday but it will revert to a 5-day week (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday 7.00 to 15.00 in the future
