CCEA provides a range of support services to the Irish medium sector including translation and editorial services in relation to examinations and curriculum.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Higher Executive Officer within the Irish medium translation and editorial service. In this role you will support the Senior Administration Officer in coordinating workflow for WJEC and for CCEA examinations and curriculum and quality‑assuring the work of a team of professional translators. To be successful, you must have experience in a translation and editorial service to provide educational materials, including high‑stakes examinations in the medium of Irish.

Responsibilities:

• Support Senior Administration Officer in coordinating workflow for WJEC and CCEA examinations and curriculum.
• Quality‑assure the work of a team of professional translators.
• Manage complex and competing priorities, demonstrating excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.

Qualifications:

• Experienced editor with proven experience in translation and editorial services for educational content.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Effective time‑management skills.
• Experience with high‑stakes examinations in the medium of Irish.
