We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to join our established multidisciplinary Building Services team. The practice works on a variety of projects in and around Aberdeen and across the whole of Scotland as well as UK wide, operating across commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare sectors.

You would play a key part in the Electrical Design team and the wider company and would be expected to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for building service projects.
  • Producing Bills of Quantities and providing cost control / reports per project.

Preferably a degree in electrical engineering or a related field but minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent.

At least 2 years’ experience in electrical design engineering on Building Services projects.

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit drawing packages.

Good working skills with Microsoft Office.

Working knowledge of lighting design packages such as Dialux & Relux.

Good working knowledge of electrical design software.

Knowledge of electrical systems and building regulations, best practice, and innovative technologies.
