Due to our continued growth and success, we’re recruiting for a backend Junior PHP Developer to work on our (Sitepad Software) to join us, either remotely or in our spacious canal-side studio.

Start Date: We are looking for someone who can start right away.
The Role: In this role, you will have the chance to work with our development team, working collaboratively on digital solutions and bespoke software solutions.
Qualifications:
- Industry experience as a Junior PHP developer
- PHP 8 (has at least worked with PHP 7)
- MySQL
- HTML / CSS (good knowledge of Sass would be a plus)
- Can write high-quality, readable code efficiently
- Is experienced in working with external APIs
- Has experience working with version control, preferably git
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the backend of our web applications using PHP.
- Integrate external APIs to enhance the functionality of our applications.
- Collaborate with the frontend development team to ensure smooth integration between the frontend and backend.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs.
