Assist students in understanding Camden County College’s curriculum, develop an academic plan and choose programs and courses to help explore interests and obtain goals.
Assist students in exploring and preparing Credit and Non Credit career opportunities.
Maintain, update and improve CCC partnerships with employers involving web based and electronic advising activities with an emphasis on Career Coach programming.
Coordinate, prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive student tracking for credit and noncredit placement verifications.
Direct and execute career fairs, information sessions, workshops and other events in regards to career and employment information.
Engage in advising, registration and New Student Orientation programming and other college recruitment events.
Present workshops on Academic, Career, Employment and Career Coach techniques. Collaborate with Academic Departments on employment trends and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Social Media software.
