Location: Peterlee
Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 base (negotiable to £37K - 38K) + OTE £55K+ 1st year uncapped
Hours: 37.5 per week

About the Role
This is a full 360 Business Development position within a fast-growing organisation. You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle: build your pipeline, pitch, negotiate, close and account manage to maximise growth. You’ll be selling nationwide, running meetings your way, Teams or face-to-face depending on client preference, especially for the bigger wins.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Generate your own leads through your waste industry contacts, leads from other departments and purchased data
- Cold call, door knock, and map out on-site opportunities
- Deliver exceptional consultative sales conversations
- Handle objections like a pro
- Create proposals, quotes, and close deals
- Manage and grow accounts from SME to multisite and corporate
- Build out your own waste network, you’ll get a mix of lead sources, but success here comes from your ability to generate and nurture your own pipeline.

We want an experienced waste industry BDM who knows the outbound B2B grind and loves it. Someone who’s confident across the full sales cycle and always thinking commercially.
