A fast-growth B2B Energy Consultancy based in the Northeast of England, specialising in commercial energy procurement, is looking to build out a dedicated Partnerships function for the first time.

This newly created role involves:

  • Shaping and managing the client’s introducer and referral channel end-to-end.
  • Growing the network of introducer partners, including sole traders, tradespeople, accountants, and other business-facing contacts.
  • Proactively contacting and nurturing existing introducer relationships.
  • Profiling each incoming opportunity and routing it to the right salesperson.
  • Tracking all leads, referrals, and commission payments with accuracy and organisation.
  • Negotiating revenue share arrangements with introducer partners.
  • Identifying and developing new introducer segments and partnership types.
  • Acting as the conduit between the introducer network and the internal sales team.
  • Keeping on top of pipeline activity during quieter periods.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in partnerships, channel management, business development, or account management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess opportunities quickly.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a busy pipeline and multiple relationships.
  • A confident, personable communication style.
  • Experience in the energy sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing SME environment.

This role reports into the Sales Director.
