A fast-growth B2B Energy Consultancy based in the Northeast of England, specialising in commercial energy procurement, is looking to build out a dedicated Partnerships function for the first time.
This newly created role involves:
- Shaping and managing the client’s introducer and referral channel end-to-end.
- Growing the network of introducer partners, including sole traders, tradespeople, accountants, and other business-facing contacts.
- Proactively contacting and nurturing existing introducer relationships.
- Profiling each incoming opportunity and routing it to the right salesperson.
- Tracking all leads, referrals, and commission payments with accuracy and organisation.
- Negotiating revenue share arrangements with introducer partners.
- Identifying and developing new introducer segments and partnership types.
- Acting as the conduit between the introducer network and the internal sales team.
- Keeping on top of pipeline activity during quieter periods.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in partnerships, channel management, business development, or account management.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess opportunities quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage a busy pipeline and multiple relationships.
- A confident, personable communication style.
- Experience in the energy sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing SME environment.
This role reports into the Sales Director.
