C&C Search is currently recruiting a Global Payroll Associate – either on a part-time or full-time basis, for an international company with offices spanning the UK, US, EU and APAC regions. Position: Global Payroll Associate

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 pro rata if part-time, Incredible benefits including generous pension and fully comprehensive.

Hybrid set up: 3/2 – if full time, ideally 4 days if part-time

Key responsibilities for this Global Payroll Associate position:

  • Transmit payroll for employees across the UK, US, EU and APAC regions on bi-weekly or monthly basis
  • Ensure accurate calculation and distribution of wages, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses and commissions
  • Manage payroll deductions including taxes, benefits and other withholding requirements
  • Handle employee mobility arrangements, liaising with tax advisors on cross-border payroll taxes
  • Process tax liabilities on share awards accurately through payroll
  • Generate and distribute comprehensive payroll reports to key stakeholders
  • Provide responsive, professional support to employees regarding payroll queries
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What background and experience are the company looking for?

  • Strong experience in payroll management, particularly a global payroll role covering UK, US, EU and APAC regions
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., Pento, ADP and Deel) and advanced Excel skills
  • In-depth understanding of payroll laws and regulations across multiple regions
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability to changing regulations and working environments
