We are partnering with a highly regarded, established professional services firm to recruit an experienced HR Coordinator.
This is a broad and responsible opportunity within a supportive HR team, offering exposure across HR operations, employee engagement, learning and development, HR systems and the full employee lifecycle.
The position is considerably broader than a traditional HR Assistant role and would suit someone with several years of HR experience who is ready to take greater ownership and become a trusted point of contact within the team.
- Coordinating new-starter and onboarding processes
- Preparing contracts, letters and employee documentation
- Managing pre-employment checks and induction arrangements

HR Systems and Reporting A significant element of the role will be taking day-to-day ownership of the organisation's HR information system. You will:
- Maintain accurate employee information
- Process changes to roles, salaries, reporting lines and contracts
- Produce standard and bespoke reports
- Support colleagues with routine system queries
- Help develop reporting functionality
- Review reports for accuracy, omissions and inconsistencies
- Analyse and manipulate HR data using Excel
Experience of a specific HR platform is not essential, as training can be provided.
However, strong experience using an HR database or HRIS is required.
You must be someone who checks and questions data rather than assuming that a system-generated report is automatically correct.
Learning and Development You will also support the administration of professional development and qualification programmes, including:
- Coordinating trainee qualification pathways
- Supporting examination and registration processes
- Tracking training and qualification deadlines
- Liaising with employees, managers and external professional bodies
- Administering learning and career-development activity

- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear and professional written communication
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- A proactive and curious approach
- The maturity to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Experience within professional services, legal, financial services, accountancy, consultancy or another structured corporate environment would be highly beneficial.
You will be commercially aware, emotionally intelligent and comfortable joining an organisation that is continuing to develop its systems, culture and ways of working.
This opportunity will not suit someone who wants to complete tasks without considering their wider purpose.
The organisation is looking for someone who notices inconsistencies, asks sensible questions and looks for opportunities to improve how things are done.
Why Apply?
- Broad exposure across multiple areas of HR
- Ownership of a business-critical HR system
- Excellent experience in reporting and employee data
- Involvement in learning and professional qualifications
