At Wildflower Wendover Day Nursery & Preschool, we believe these everyday moments help children build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning and we're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Lunch Cover Practitioner to help make those moments happen.
Working Monday to Friday, 11:00am–3:00pm, this flexible role is perfect if you're looking for hours that fit around school runs, studying, family life or other commitments.
Whether you're qualified in Early Years, have experience working with children, or are looking to build your career in childcare, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing (AKA: The Lunchtime Magic)
- Creating calm, happy mealtimes where children feel relaxed and supported.
- Encouraging children to build confidence, independence and healthy eating habits.
- Supporting children with handwashing, personal care and daily routines.
- Helping children settle for rest time before heading back to exciting afternoon adventures.
- Working across our Baby Room, Toddler Rooms and Preschool, supporting wherever you're needed most.
- Sharing stories, conversations, laughter and plenty of encouragement along the way.
- Being a reassuring, friendly face that children look forward to seeing every day.
