This role is all about preschool. As Preschool Room Leader, you’ll lead a vibrant, engaging environment where children are supported to become independent, confident learners. You’ll shape a curriculum that sparks imagination, encourages exploration, and prepares children for their transition to school. You’ll be hands-on, inspiring, and attentive, creating meaningful learning experiences while supporting your team to deliver outstanding care and education.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the Preschool Room with confidence, creativity, and consistency
- Creating a stimulating environment that supports learning through play
- Planning and delivering activities that promote school readiness and independence
- Supporting children’s communication, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy
- Mentoring and supporting your team to deliver high-quality practice
- Building strong, positive relationships with families
- Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
- A full and relevant Early Years / Childcare qualification
- Strong experience working with preschool-aged children
- Experience leading or supporting a team
- A good understanding of the EYFS and school readiness
- A positive, energetic approach and a genuine passion for Early Years
About the Role:
- Full-time position (38 hours per week)
- All year round
- Based at Beaumont Day Nursery, Twickenham
- Part of a private group of nurseries
