Our lovely Nursery in Whitburn is seeking an experienced nursery practitioner to join their team. The position involves working a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday. The salary is up to £28,513, depending on qualifications and experience, with a range of benefits.

The Big Bird Nursery, part of the CC Nurseries Group, offers 79 places and is situated in the heart of the Whitburn community. Requirements

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to children\'s ages and developmental stages.
  • Support the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of children.
  • Assist in implementing an effective key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to support all children and team members in your room.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the Curriculum for Excellence.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working in a nursery.
