At Wildflower Wendover Day Nursery & Preschool, we're looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team and help prepare fresh, nutritious meals that keep our little learners fuelled for a day of adventures.

Working alongside our Nursery Chef, you'll play an important role in making mealtimes something children look forward to every single day.

About the role

Working Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 2:00pm, you'll help keep our busy nursery kitchen running smoothly while preparing healthy, balanced meals and snacks for our children.

What You'll Be Doing (AKA: The Tasty Stuff)

  • Helping prepare delicious, nutritious meals and snacks for children across the nursery.
  • Supporting our Chef to deliver balanced menus that children love.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently.
  • Following food hygiene and safety standards to the highest level.
  • Helping cater for allergies, dietary requirements and individual needs.
  • Preparing food with care, creativity and plenty of pride.
  • Playing an important part in creating positive, enjoyable mealtimes for every child.

From chopping fruit to serving lunch, you'll be helping children grow one healthy meal at a time.
