At Wendover Day Nursery, our kitchen is always full of energy as we prepare delicious, nutritious meals for our wonderful children every day. We love creating fresh, healthy dishes that fuel learning, play, and growing minds and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Chef to help make it happen.
Working closely with our Chef, you’ll help prepare and serve fantastic meals for our busy nursery while supporting the smooth running of a lively kitchen.
About the role
In this role (9:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday), you’ll assist the Chef with daily food preparation and service, helping ensure every meal is healthy, balanced, and full of flavour. With a nursery full of hungry children each day, teamwork, organisation, and efficiency are key.
You’ll also help maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards, support menu preparation, and contribute to creating a positive and welcoming mealtime experience for children and staff.
