At Wendover Day Nursery, we know that mealtimes are about far more than food. We’re looking for a caring and reliable Lunch Cover Practitioner to join our team and support children during this important part of their day.
This flexible role runs Monday to Friday, 11am-3pm, making it ideal if you’re looking for part-time hours that fit around school runs, studying, or other commitments. Whether you have a relevant qualification, experience working with children, or are keen to build hands‑on skills in Early Years, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Part of the award‑winning CC Nurseries Group, Wendover Day Nursery is a vibrant, purpose‑built setting designed for exploration, imagination, and joyful learning. As a Lunch Cover Practitioner, you’ll support children and staff during key moments of the day including child‑led mealtimes, rest periods, and play helping to maintain calm routines and provide warm, responsive care.
You’ll work across all age groups, from our nurturing Baby Room through to our energetic Pre‑School, ensuring every lunchtime is a positive, relaxed experience. Your calm presence and consistency will help children feel safe, confident, and supported during one of the most social and meaningful parts of their day.
