About the Role
Criterion Capital is seeking a NavLive Project Scanner to support the capture, processing, and delivery of high-quality spatial data across our property and development portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with cutting-edge scanning technology and wants to play a hands-on role in modern real estate and asset digitisation. You’ll be responsible for operating NavLive (or similar SLAM-based scanning systems), producing accurate digital models, and collaborating with project teams to ensure data is delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project sites and carry out internal and external building scans
- Capture accurate spatial data using NavLive or equivalent mobile mapping systems
- Establish and manage control points around buildings
- Use GNSS RTK equipment for precise control point positioning
- Upload scan data to NavLive for downstream use, including Revit modelling workflows
- Ensure all scan data is correctly transferred and accessible via PC systems
- Understand the full project scope from design/pre-construction teams prior to commencing scans
- Process scan data into usable outputs (point clouds, floor plans, BIM-ready models)
- Maintain quality control and ensure high levels of accuracy across all projects
- Travel between multiple sites as required
- Maintain and manage scanning equipment and associated software
Requirements
- Experience with NavLive, SLAM scanners, LiDAR, or similar technologies
- Working knowledge of GNSS RTK systems and control point setup
- Background in surveying, architecture, engineering, or construction technology
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft systems and general admin knowledge
- Ability to manage data uploads and workflows via PC
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel regularly between project sites
Desirable Skills
- Experience with BIM workflows and software (e.g., Revit)
- Familiarity with point cloud processing tools (e.g., ReCap, CloudCompare)
- Knowledge of GIS or spatial data systems
- Previous experience in real estate or property development environments
- Basic understanding of photogrammetry
