Criterion Capital are seeking a proactive Construction Buyer to join our dynamic Buying team. In this role, you’ll manage the full procurement cycle—from RFIs and RFPs to tendering, purchase order management, and invoice reconciliation. You’ll play a key part in ensuring materials are delivered on time and in full for large-scale projects across London. As part of our supply chain strategy, you’ll identify risks and opportunities, recommend improvements to the Head of Procurement, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement from budget stage through to completion for multiple projects.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and excellent service.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders using Yardi (or similar systems).
  • Coordinate deliveries with site logistics teams to ensure timely, complete arrivals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in construction procurement (main contractor or sub-contractor).
  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes, RFIs, and RFPs.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar procurement software.
