As we continue to evolve and grow, we're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People team on a maternity cover basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ER professional who thrives on building trusted relationships, navigating complex employee relations matters and driving fair, consistent people practices across a diverse organisation.

What you'll be doing

As part of our collaborative Employee Relations team, you'll provide expert advice and guidance to managers across the UK and Ireland, helping to resolve a wide range of employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policy.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing complex ER cases from start to finish, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
  • Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle people-related challenges.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners on organisational change projects, including restructures, redundancy programmes and TUPE activity.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of ER policies, procedures and guidance.
  • Keeping managers informed of legislative changes and emerging best practice.
  • Delivering training and coaching to build management capability and reduce organisational risk.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider HR function.

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced Employee Relations professional with strong employment law knowledge and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate

  • Proven experience managing a broad range of ER cases.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation (Ireland experience would be advantageous).
  • Experience supporting organisational change, consultation and restructuring activity.
  • The ability to influence and build credibility with managers at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative approach with a focus on finding practical solutions.
  • Confidence operating in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
