About the Role
The Assistant Brand Manager will assist, and where applicable, lead in developing, building and implementing the brand strategy, positioning, integrated commercial and digital plans of the brand in order to deliver its consumer & commercial KPIs. Other key deliverables include supporting, and where applicable, leading budget management, brand health analysis, competitor analysis, and reviewing commercial performance of brands by working in collaboration with the relevant internal teams and external agencies.
Key Accountabilities
- Support with the development and execution of annual brand plans and annual brand budgets, demonstrating an understanding of key consumer and commercial levers that impact brand performance.
- Work with insights, data, key partners and monitored brand health metrics to inform brand strategy, planning and activation.
- Identify and exploit creative and cost-effective methods of building brand presence and share of voice in a crowded market.
- Support in building out brand propositions and support with cross‑functional project delivery on NPD initiatives including product launch and channel plan build.
- Partner with the Customer Marketing teams through activation in relevant sales channels via provision of brand messaging, identity, imagery, etc. to ensure consistency across all customer and consumer touch points.
- Working with the Digital Marketing team, identify opportunities for innovative digital marketing with focused marketing activity to help maximise consumer reach and engagement.
- An understanding of media landscape, the role and effectiveness of differing touchpoints for achieving different objectives and work closely with internal and external partners to deliver on these.
About you
- Degree standard or equivalent education.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years marketing experience.
- Experience within FMCG desirable.
- Professionalism demonstrated in both verbal and written communication.
- Highly creative. Thinks outside the box and looks to where the unconventional can create opportunity.
- An interest in the alcohol / cider sector.
