About the Role

The Operations Administrator is a role which requires a detail-oriented and proactiveindividualto support the activities of our Warehouse Late Shift’s operational activity. This role involves coordinating logistics, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the efficient use of ourWarehouse Management System (WMS)to streamline operations and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency through our Goods Out Cycle of Operation.

Key Accountabilities

WMS Management:

  • Utilise the Warehouse Management System to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and manage order fulfilment.
  • Generate reports from the WMS for inventory control, order tracking, and warehouse performance.
  • Input and maintain accurate data in the system, ensuring real-time updates and minimal discrepancies.

Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate outbound logistics, including confirming shipments and communicating with our in-house transport teams.
  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.

Inventory Control:

  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts using WMS tools.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with warehouse staff.

Process Improvement:

  • Suggest and implement operational improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new features or upgrades within the WMS.

Communication:

  • Liaise with internal departments including Management & Both Transport and Warehouse teams.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

About you

  • Proven experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Manhattan, or similar).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
