Join our dynamic team at Wellpark Brewery as a Maintenance Engineer! We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to help maintain and improve our automated systems and machinery. If you are passionate about engineering and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
As an Engineering Craftsperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment reliability and uptime. You’ll be responsible for maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs across our brewery, while also supporting operational flexibility. Flexible working on a 3 cycle shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are upheld.
- Follow quality procedures to maintain product and service standards.
- Support prioritisation of work and advise on spare parts.
- Log maintenance activities and anomalies in the EAM system.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area (5S principles).
- Support cross-functional teamwork and operational duties.
- Participate in training and mentor colleagues.
- Provide cover for engineers during absences.
- Manage and own the prioritised work list for your area.
- Identify and contribute to plant improvement initiatives.
- Support peak production periods with overtime when needed.
- Recognised apprenticeship completion.
- Ideally multi-skilled with PLC fault diagnosis experience.
- Minimum Standard Grade English and Maths (Grade 3 or equivalent).
- HNC or City & Guilds qualification preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and numerical skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently.
- Experience in production/manufacturing (FMCG preferred).
- Proactive and results-driven with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges.
- Logical thinker with excellent communication skills.
