About the role
The Head of B2B Marketing will lead the development and delivery of C&C Group’s RTM brand marketing and B2B communications strategy (MCB, Tennent’s Direct, TNI, Bulmers Direct). This role is responsible for ensuring our RTM brands and propositions resonate with customers and partners, driving engagement and commercial success. You will oversee all B2B communications, trade events, and design output, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with business objectives.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, you will work closely with peers across digital, sponsorships, and PR to deliver integrated campaigns that strengthen C&C’s position as a trusted partner in the drinks industry. This role can be based in London, Bristol or Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and own the B2B communications and proposition strategy, aligned to overall marketing and commercial objectives.
- Ensure B2B marketing plans support customer engagement and sales growth.
- Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of B2B Comms Manager, events specialists, and designers, fostering creativity and accountability.
- Trade Events & Experiences
- Oversee planning and execution of trade events, ensuring impactful experiences that build relationships and brand equity.
- Design & Creative Output
- Manage the design team to deliver high-quality assets for B2B campaigns, events, and customer communications as well as our RTM proposition of wine list design.
- Content & Messaging
- Ensure all B2B messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Head of Digital Marketing, Sponsorships & Partnerships Manager, and PR teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Be the link to the promotions teams and senior Channel Strategy & Commercial leads for our B2B plans.
- Performance & ROI
- Set KPIs for B2B communications and events, monitor performance, and optimise for impact.
- Governance
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, legal requirements, and data protection regulations.
About you
You’ll bring a proven ability to lead B2B communications and trade marketing within an FMCG environment, with strong marketing skills gained in a consumer, B2B, or channel marketing role. You’re commercially astute, with a solid understanding of channel dynamics and how to translate strategy into high‑quality execution.
You’re an inspirational leader who enjoys developing teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving collaboration across functions to deliver business objectives. Highly organised and outcome‑focused, you’re comfortable managing multiple priorities at pace and performing well under pressure.
You’re a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, a continuous improvement mindset, and the resilience to thrive in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments. With a flexible, proactive management style, you’re confident working autonomously while remaining agile and responsive to change.
Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Extensive experience in B2B marketing and communications leadership roles.
- Track record of delivering impactful trade campaigns and events.
- Drinks industry experience desirable.
