About the role

To assist in providing efficient, professional and customer focused administration support to the CI & Admin Manager/Team Leader and Depot Management Team. The job holder will help facilitate the depot continuous improvement, stock integrity and admin, with responsibility for the delivery of cost, service, compliance, people KPIs – in line with company and legal standards and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • To act as first point of contact at Reception.
  • Answering incoming calls, providing the first line of the customer care function.
  • To accurately amend and despatch customer orders as and when required.
  • Carry out and maintain an accurate filing system for all relevant company documentation.
  • Adhere to “Off licence” legislation whilst carrying out an “Off licence” sale.
  • Support and cover administration tasks for other departments when required.
  • Ensure the Depot and office environment is maintained, including stationary and ensuring the office environment is kept in a safe and hygienic manor.
  • Any other administration tasks required.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality and legal documentation and standards.

About you

  • Experience in an Administration role within a fast moving and changing work environment such as FMCG or logistics
  • Passionate about providing a premium service
  • Bookkeeping & time management skills
  • Proven track record in delivering within set targets with an understanding of cost and control management
  • Able to multi-task in a pressured environment and work to tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated and driven in maintaining the highest standards in quality and Health & Safety
  • Effective communication skills – able to communicate effectively at all levels with good verbal and written English
  • Must be flexible with work patterns as the role may require reception cover at peak workload period
  • Positive approach and completion of any reasonable task requested by the management team
