A unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the commercial Off Trade team across C&C Group has become available, in the role of National Account Manager – C&C Brands. Within C&C Group we have a portfolio of fantastic brands, including Magners, Orchard Pig, Menabrea, Heverlee and of course our iconic Tennent’s Lager. Whilst we know how great these products are, we are looking for an experienced & energetic salesperson to be their strategist and spokesperson for growth.
As an integral part of the Off Trade team, this role will require you to build a strategic commercial plan with these key customers aiming for volume and profitability growth. You will aim to understand the characteristics of each customer and brand inside and out, working closely with stakeholders throughout C&C Group to magnify the strengths of each product and lead with a robust sales strategy across the GB Off Trade.
What you’ll do:
- Build & implement customer sales strategy aligned to company objectives
- Identify and act on opportunities for growth
- Deliver customer specific brand/marketing activities
- Maintain clear and regular communication channels with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Build and manage strong departmental cross‑functional relationships
- Forecast and Track performance
- Deliver growth KPI’s of our premium beer & cider portfolio in GB
- Align on Performance & KPI tracking updates to internal & external peers
- Regular analysis of category information and align with Market Trends to drive customer engagement & our volumes within
- Available to travel throughout the UK as per business requirements
About you:
- 2+ years’ experience in FMCG sales with a proven track record of success managing multiple national accounts
- A strong career track record in Consumer Goods / FMCG
- A background in working with Grocery customers
- Data‑driven with great mathematical and analytical skills
- Demonstrable sales and negotiation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of beer and cider, other drinks categories is an advantage
- Demonstrable experience and success within sales is paramount
