About the Role
Working within the Technology Business Operations Team, as an IT Supplier Relationship Manager at C&C Group, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with our third-party IT suppliers, ensuring they deliver quality IT services and products that exceed expectations. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and our colleagues to unlock value, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will support internal colleagues with their procurement and supplier management activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Build and nurture dynamic relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and peak performance.
- Managing activities related to outsourcing and third-party risk management, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, and vendor monitoring.
- Lead the charge in negotiating, implementing, and managing supplier contracts, ensuring compliance, and maximizing value.
- Identify and tackle risks associated with supplier relationships, including financial, operational, and reputational challenges.
- Develop and implement a supplier roadmap to drive and align with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align supplier services with business objectives and drive success.
- Propel continuous improvement initiatives to boost supplier performance and achieve significant cost savings.
- Ensure all supplier activities adhere to C&C Group policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Regularly assess supplier’s commercials against industry standards to ensure cost containment.
- Bringing best practice to manage suppliers within IT to deliver high quality engagement with suppliers, being responsive to internal demands and open to the challenges articulated by the supplier.
- Holding the suppliers to account and ensure they prepare and provide regular status and governance reports against key metrics. In some instances, these metrics will need to be developed.
- Chair a range of supplier meetings for senior stakeholders, ensuring an appropriate agenda, papers from both parties and appropriate minutes.
- Be able to demonstrate management of supplier’s performance and implement a supplier framework.
- Working collaboratively with the IT subject matter experts to ensure the right level of involvement from them in the supplier interactions. Helping colleagues understand supplier obligations and what their expectations should be while and allowing suppliers an opportunity to present potential changes that may be of advantage to the company. Where possible, ensuring value add from supplier.
About you
- Robust experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager is essential, preferably within a Tech environment.
- Robust experience managing IT suppliers at an operational and strategic level, partnering with Procurement.
- Robust experience of supplier negotiation including fees and charges
- Awareness if ITILv4 Framework
- Experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related field, in a regulated industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and supplier management best practices.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
