Projects Administrator Location: CC Cousins, Medway City Estate Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Salary: £26,200 per annum Start Date: ASAP About Us CC Cousins is an established Facilities Maintenance provider delivering services across Building Fabric, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Landscaping throughout the South of England. We work closely with a wide range of commercial, business and retail clients, delivering everything from reactive maintenance through to planned works and small projects. The Role We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Projects Administrator to join our busy Projects Team. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys being involved in the full project lifecycle and wants to see the work they are supporting progress from conception through to completion. You will play an important role in the administration and coordination of small works projects, working closely with our surveyors and internal management team to ensure projects are organised, communicated and delivered efficiently. This is a varied position where no two days are necessarily the same, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the successful delivery of our projects. Key Responsibilities * Raising new jobs and keeping relevant managers updated throughout the project. * Arranging proformas and purchasing materials required for projects. * Scheduling jobs with in-house engineers and subcontractors. * Liaising with clients to provide updates and coordinate works. * Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). * Assisting with client permit systems and ensuring required documentation is in place. * Compiling completion reports and project documentation. * Updating and maintaining the in-house database and project records. * Supporting the Projects Team with the day-to-day coordination and administration of small works projects. * Monitoring the progress of projects and helping ensure works are completed within agreed timescales. * Communicating with engineers, subcontractors, clients and internal teams to keep projects moving. About You We are looking for someone who is: * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. * Confident communicating with clients, engineers and subcontractors. * Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time. * Proactive and able to work independently. * Comfortable working with computer systems and databases. * Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. * A strong communicator with a professional and friendly manner. * Able to work to deadlines and remain calm in a busy environment. * Keen to learn and develop within a Projects environment. Previous experience in project administration, facilities maintenance, construction, engineering or a similar environment would be advantageous, but is not essential for the right candidate.
