Location: South/ Southeast of UK (travel required)

Pay: £12.71 - £36,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday – 4:00am starts

Overtime: Weekend work available (paid at day rate)

About the Company

CC Cousins is a well-established and growing facilities maintenance solutions company with over 40 years of experience. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our landscaping team.

Working alongside a Landscape Engineer, you will support the delivery of landscaping and grounds maintenance services across commercial sites throughout the East and South of England. You will meet at the yard (Medway City Estate) each morning and travel to site in a company van.

Duties Include:

  • Grass cutting and strimming
  • Hedge cutting
  • Weeding and shrub bed maintenance
  • Leaf clearance and litter picking
  • Sweeping kerb lines and hard standings
  • Tree canopy lifting
  • Digging trenches and assisting with irrigation/drainage installations
  • Operating petrol mowers, strimmers, and blowers
  • Loading and unloading tools and materials
  • Maintaining clean and safe working areas
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Full manual driving licence (maximum 10 points) and own vehicle
  • Ability to start work at 4:00am
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Experience using petrol tools (advantageous)
  • PA1/PA6 certification (desirable – training provided if required)
  • Reliable, polite, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
  • Positive attitude and strong team ethic
