An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based along the M4 Corridor has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Junior Mobile M&E Maintenance Engineer to be based on a commercial office contract along the M4 Corridor, including locations such as Thatcham, Oxford, Basingstoke & Reading. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across roughly 6 or 7 sites.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. My client is also willing to look at engineers who are fresh out of college with qualifications or only a few years of experience. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work: Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00 Callout TBC
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements
- Electrically or mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition (If Electrical bias)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
