An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider based in Winnersh, Berkshire. We are currently recruiting for Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineers for a static, site-based role within a large and prestigious commercial building estate.

The successful candidates will be fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineers, holding a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 qualification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical-biased M&E and fabric planned and reactive maintenance as part of a close-knit team of three engineers, working alongside an on-site supervisor. You will be responsible for all landlord services across the building and will be required to demonstrate hands-on knowledge and experience of the following:

  • Electrical
    • Lighting – small installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels and power distribution
    • Emergency lighting testing and certification
    • Fire alarm testing
    • UPS systems – monitoring and taking readings
    • Pressurisation units
    • BMS – monitoring hot and cold systems
  • Mechanical & HVAC
    • HVAC plant and plant room maintenance
    • Air conditioning – air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes and cleaning)
    • Chillers – monitoring and resets
    • Pumps, motors and cooling tower maintenance
    • Water treatment – temperature checks (non-dosing)
  • Fabric & General
    • Plumbing – unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals, etc.
    • General building fabric maintenance
    • Escorting and overseeing sub-contractors

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday | 40-hour week | Overtime available at weekends
Rotating shifts: 08:00–17:00 No call-out requirement

Package

Basic salary up to £45,000 per annum
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Birthday off as an additional holiday

Requirements

  • Electrically qualified – C&G 2330 / NVQ Level 2 (minimum), Level 3 preferred
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – essential
  • Copies of all trade certificates will be required upon application
  • Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, honest and hardworking
