Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Buildings – London – Up to £45,000 + PackageCBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract covering sites across London with key sites in Kings Cross, Peckham, Stratford, and Elephant & Castle
Package & working hours
Basic salary of up to £45,000
Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
Tons of Overtime
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Van & Fuel Card including personal use of van

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor mechanical plant (Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings)
Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
Monitor the BMS systems.
Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
General building fabric
Escort specialist subcontractors
Maintain and update Log books
Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
Requirements
Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Multi-skilled
Good communication skills
Client Facing
Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
