An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider based in Teddington, South West London. We are currently recruiting for Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineers for a static, site-based role within a large and prestigious commercial building.

The successful candidates will be fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineers, holding a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 qualification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical-biased M&E and fabric planned and reactive maintenance as part of a close-knit team of three engineers, working alongside an on-site supervisor. You will be responsible for all landlord services across the building and will be required to demonstrate hands-on knowledge and experience of the following:

  • Electrical
    • Lighting — small installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels and power distribution
    • Emergency lighting testing and certification
    • Fire alarm testing
    • UPS systems — monitoring and taking readings
    • Pressurisation units
    • BMS — monitoring hot and cold systems
  • Mechanical & HVAC
    • HVAC plant and plant room maintenance
    • Air conditioning — air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes and cleaning)
    • Chillers — monitoring and resets
    • Pumps, motors and cooling tower maintenance
    • Water treatment — temperature checks (non-dosing)
  • Fabric & General
    • Plumbing — unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals, etc.
    • General building fabric maintenance
    • Escorting and overseeing sub-contractors

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday | 40-hour week | Overtime available at weekends
  • Rotating shifts: 07:00–16:00 / 08:00–17:00 / 10:00–19:00
  • No call-out requirement

Package:

  • Basic salary up to £44,700 per annum

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified — C&G 2330 / NVQ Level 2 (minimum), Level 3 preferred
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) — essential

  • Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, honest and hardworking
