CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Electrician to cover a large tourist attraction located in South West London. The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of up to £45,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information:

  • 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 07:00 am to 19:00 pm / 10:00 am to 22:00 pm
  • Up to £45,000 per annum
  • Lots of overtime available
  • 22 Days holiday
  • Uniform and Tools Provided

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Control panel, Power distribution)
  • Emergency lighting
  • Minor installation work
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
  • Escort specialist subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Electrical qualified level 2 & 3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
  • 18th Edition Installation experience
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Must be able to get to site for 07:00 am start
