Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider situated in Crawley. I am currently recruiting for an emergency lighting engineer to be based in a large commercial estate. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with C&G / NVQ level 2 & 3 + AM2 and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out emergency lighting works as part of a two-man team across this site. Working with the maintenance team of engineers on site, you will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below.

Hours of work:
2 weeks of days, 1 week of nights.... Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday on rotation. Days and Nights 10 Hour Shift 07:00am to 17:00pm / 21:00 to 07:00.
Key Duties:
- Install, test, and maintain emergency lighting systems across a large commercial site, ensuring full compliance with BS 5266 and site-specific safety requirements.
- Perform scheduled inspections, fault finding, and repairs to ensure all systems remain fully operational and legally compliant.
- Accurately complete maintenance logs, test certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Support planned upgrades and modifications to lighting infrastructure as part of site-wide improvement projects.
- Liaise with site management and contractors to coordinate works with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to site policies and health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Electrically Qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2&3 AM2
- Must be able to pass security clearance
- A proven track record in commercial maintenance
