A leading facilities management service provider is seeking an experienced Shift Technician to join a prestigious, high‑spec commercial office building in the heart of the City of London. This modern, multi‑tenant development offers state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure and is ideally located near major financial institutions and excellent transport links. This is a hands‑on engineering role, ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced, critical environment. You will be fully involved in day‑to‑day engineering tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of all building services.
Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days Only – 2s & 3s) – Panama Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works efficiently via the maintenance system
- Carry out hands‑on maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
- Diagnose and resolve plant faults quickly to minimise downtime
- Conduct regular quality checks on work, documentation, and housekeeping standards
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and job sheets

Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (recognised certification) – Level 3 Required

- Strong electrical knowledge with multi‑skilled capabilities
- Experience working with UPS systems, generators, and power distribution
- Excellent communication skills
