Senior Fire Safety Engineer 📍 London\\n💼 Full-Time | Permanent\\n\\n Purpose of the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Fire Safety Engineer to provide high-quality fire engineering services across a range of projects. The role involves liaising with clients, managing projects from inception to completion, and mentoring graduate fire engineers.\\n\\n Key Responsibilities\\nDeliver continuous, high-quality fire engineering services, including:\\n\\nDeveloping fire safety strategies and associated mark-ups for buildings and infrastructure projects.\\n\\nProviding advisory support and conducting site visits during construction.\\n\\nPreparing technical assessments of external wall systems and other fire-related analyses.\\n\\nConducting CFD and evacuation modelling using software such as FDS/PyroSim and Pathfinder.\\n\\nPerforming third-party design reviews and verification.\\n\\nProvide well-supported fire-engineered solutions, drawing on relevant legislation and guidance (e.g., Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 9991, BS 7974).\\n\\nManage projects end-to-end, including fee proposals, invoicing, and client liaison.\\n\\nMentor and supervise graduate fire engineers and other support staff.\\n\\nContribute to the technical development of the fire engineering team and support directors or senior staff as required.\\n\\nMaintain accurate records to ensure quality procedures, service levels, and contractual requirements are met.\\n\\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities.\\n\\nManage external collaborators and support sustainable development within the fire engineering discipline.\\n\\nRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and training sessions.\\n\\nSupport strategic decision-making and contribute to achieving office budgets and financial targets.\\n\\nDeliver external training and technical presentations as required.\\n\\nQualifications / Accreditations\\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Civil, or similar).\\n\\nPostgraduate qualification in Fire Engineering (Certificate, Diploma, or Masters).\\n\\nFull membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and working towards or achieved Chartership.\\n\\nExperience & Competencies\\nMinimum of 4 years’ experience in fire safety engineering.\\n\\nStrong passion for fire safety and engineering excellence.\\n\\nExcellent communication and client management skills.\\n\\nAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow instructions within a team environment.\\n\\nNumerate, organised, and detail-oriented.\\n\\nProfessional appearance and behaviour, with reliability and integrity.\\n\\nFlexible and adaptable to meet project and client requirements.\\n\\nDesirable Skills\\nStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam
