CBW are currently recruiting for a Procurement/Buyer for one of our key clients based in Holborn. The role is a full-time office-based role where you will take full ownership of procurement activities across the business. You will manage supplier relationships, oversee purchasing processes, and support building operations across multiple categories. Initially working independently, the role offers clear potential to develop into a team leadership position as the function grows.
Key responsibilities
- Managing purchase orders and supplier relationships across allocated categories
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to deliver cost savings
- Supporting sourcing and tendering activity
- Monitoring supplier performance, lead times, and service levels
- Working with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk
- Supporting continuous improvement across procurement operations
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Buyer, Procurement Officer, or Purchasing role (Essential)
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Good Excel and systems capability
- Previously worked in Construction or Facilities Maintenance (Desirable)
- You must be willing to work 5 days a week in the office (Only apply on this basis)
