An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Chesterford, Essex.
CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial estate of buildings near Chesterford, Essex.
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance alongside the maintenance team.
- Hours of work
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Salary: £46,000 (note: salary stated in listing)
- 25 days holiday
- Extra 1 day off for birthday

Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ - Electrical Level 3
- 17th or 18th Edition
- Copies of trade certificates (Essential)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Understanding of L8 water treatment, pumps, air handling units
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
- Electrical duties
- Emergency lighting
- Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
- AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
- Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
- Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
- Water treatment – dipslides, p H & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
- Water pressurization units
- Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
- Condensers, condenser returns
- Cooling towers
- Softeners
- Boilers – re-sets
- Chillers – re-sets, 1st line faults
