CBW is currently recruiting an Engineering Supervisor to join a flagship estate in London's West End. Working for a leading Facilities Management provider, you will oversee a team of 8 engineers across a prestigious mixed-use portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. This is a predominantly supervisory role, with responsibility for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and acting as a key point of contact for the client. Working closely with the Contract Management team, you will drive performance across the site, support the engineering team, and ensure all works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 5 engineers on site
- Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs across the contract
- Act as the main point of contact for client interactions and meetings
- Coordinate daily engineering activities and resource allocation
- Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed efficiently
- Arrange and oversee specialist subcontractors
- Manage reports, site logbooks and compliance documentation
- Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met and maintained
- Conduct site audits and ensure documentation is current and audit-ready
- Work closely with the Contract Manager to drive service delivery and continuous improvement
- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team when required
- Assist with emergency situations and critical incidents when necessary

Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm
Overtime available
Call out rota 1 in 9
Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Supervisory or Lead Engineer position
- Strong commercial building maintenance background
- Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of compliance and statutory requirements
- Professional, organised and capable of leading by example
