My client is looking for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial office in Moorgate, London. The successful candidates will be electrically biased (C&G / NVQ) and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance with either LV or HV AP. Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance.
In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £53,000.

Key Duties & Responsibilities- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Re-set
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Water Treatment
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
