Are you a people‑focused professional with a passion for supporting residents through essential building safety improvements? CBW is looking for a confident, organised, and compassionate Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our growing Passive Fire Protection team. You’ll be the face of our fire safety projects, helping residents understand the works taking place in their homes and ensuring work is carried out smoothly, safely, and respectfully.

About the Role

As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key link between site teams and the residents affected by passive fire protection works, including firestopping, fire door upgrades, and compartmentation improvements. Your role is essential in ensuring clear communication, minimising disruption, and maintaining trust throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for residents during passive fire protection works
  • Explain the nature of fire safety works clearly and confidently
  • Arrange and manage access appointments with residents
  • Support vulnerable residents and handle concerns around safety, disruption, or noise
  • Work closely with site managers and operatives to coordinate daily activities
  • Keep detailed records of visits, communications, complaints, and resolutions
  • Ensure all homes are left clean, secure, and compliant following works
  • Gather resident feedback to help us improve our service

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as an RLO, Housing Officer, Customer Liaison Officer, or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and admin abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations and work with vulnerable residents
  • Background in construction, social housing, or fire protection
